Athletic Participation平均, 65% of students in grades seven through twelve participate in at least one sport during the school year.
Maumee Valley prepares students for athletic participation in the physical education and fitness curriculum, beginning in the Lower School and is based on a developmental plan that progresses at the rate of the individual student.
Maumee Valley offers a range of varsity sports. It has tremendous facilities, including three gymnasiums, 健身中心, 五个网球场, 室外跟踪, 足球场, and ample competition and practice fields for athletes.
Fitness activities are designed to build strength, flexibility, and endurance. Equal emphasis is placed on teaching the games and their rules. Student-athletes learn to set goals, be team players, and know the value of commitment to a team.
